Below is a 1960D 1DO-001 (DDO-001, FS-101) small over large date with RPM-100 stage a EDS close to a VEDS example. Overlay is at the bottom. The RPM is one of those wire like RPMs. There is also some doubling in BE of LIBERTY. Stage b is when several new die scratches appear including the curving one below the 19 (obviously not shown below).
Very well done Jason. You don't see too many EDS specimens of this die (obviously). The die crack you mention has been on all but one example I have ever seen.

I posted this crackless EDS BU find a while back: Seems to have the same nw-se die scratches as Jason's example.

What I would like to know is, what are you using to get these clear extreme close-up's?
I shoot through a microscope. Years of practice. I'm a photographer and I have been using Photoshop for 20 years. My first shot is a stacked compiled image of about 8 shots...
