    1958-D MM Placements

Here are a couple of different MM placements and somewhere I have one that is almost touching the bust, but it has hidden itself. Does anyone have a 58-D with the MM extremely out of place?

I guess as long as the mint mark is under the date its fair game nothing special.

Yes I know, I'm looking for examples with the MM under the 9 or 5 or almost touching rim or bust.

The only verified misplaced mintmarks on a 1958D is RPM-021

There are a couple where there is said to be mintmarks in the tail of the 9, but those have never been conclusively authenticated.

Abe I have a fairly low MM that I consider extremely out of place compared more to the norm. Have a look and see what you think.

Thanx Jim, but I have 3 that are in the same area as yours. Yesterday I found a 53-D with the D directly under the 5, but I'm not working on 53'D's so in the pile it went.
