My wish is to have all service people safe and sound on this day and every day afterwards. Military life is tough, not only on the person who are in the different branches of service, but their families as well. I do know this very well.

Happy Memorial Day to all. To our Vets past and present I sincerely thank you for your service and sacrifices. Ten-hut... present arms!

Tomorrow, our son David begins his journey to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX where he will start his U. S. Air Force boot camp and ironically the timing on his entry to active duty to our country quite appropriate. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he prepares to join his fellow brothers and sisters.
