    Here is a coin that has been passed onto me and they say it is an 1918-D

    I personally can't confirm. Can anybody here verify the year?

      the 2 is pretty clear in pic 4
      I downloaded pic 3 and played with it on photoshop

          pic 1 looked like 18 on the 4th pic looks like a 2 . this is why we look at all the pictures nice 28D.

            To me the 1st pic does not look like a 1... 28D is the thought!!!

                I'd vote 1928, too.

                Prior to 1922, the foot of the G in GOD was more pointed.

                  I agree. In first picture there's a noticeable curve at the top making it look like a 2. other pictures confirm it... JMO

                          Strike thru grease or maybe abnormal wear on the outer devices even LIBER is worn unevenly... As for a weak strike I do not think so because the bust looks like circulation wear an tear... Can you post a rev pic???
