    1969 P Dime Clipped Planchet

Well, as best as I can tell this has a double clipped planchet. This is also the first non-Lincoln clip I have found.
It was in a roll of pennies I got in a brick from the bank last week.
Let me know if you agree with my analysis.
    Thanks for checking,
    Jean

Unusual dual rim clipped planchet. I have not seen one of these on a dime. CONGRATS!!!

To me this looks like PSD... I have never found a clipped planchet so I'm not to sure... I see some minor defects running inward from the areas on the rev as if someone crimped it with a pair of needle nose pliers... What am I missing here??? Your help would be appreciated!!!

I agree with Jim on this one. I can't see the indented areas coming in from the rim on a clip.

I am going with Jean's attribution on this one as a double clip. Looks like the real deal to me.

I agree with Jim on this one : After taking a second look it does look like post strike damage.

Here is a link for a dime double clipped, keeping in mind that it is the planchet that is originally affected :

I'm not sure. Maybe PM Mike D and get his view on this one...
