Hey Joe is yours on backorder also, I've got 5 scheduled to ship on Nov 24th.
Just received another e-mail from the mint said they weren't cancelling my order yet but may have to soon due to overwhelming popularity.

Don't wait too long to decide as the program only lasts about 30 days from lst shipments of the product if you are going to get them graded.

I just checked and I got bumped to 11/26/2011 which will probably make it to late to ship to NGC's First Strike Program but I do not believe in that anyway so when received I will ship it off.

I am hoping they do not cancel my order which has a confirmation number however, It is the mint so they will do anything.

I would never pay the prices that they want on E-bay and elsewhere.

Ngc will label it early relese for free, pcgs lables it first strike for $18. As long as it's in it's mint box you could send it to pcgs 10 years from now and get that label. However Ngc has a 30 day cut off date to get the early relese label . I could care less about Er or fs label. In some other forums, some advise, which I feel I'm going to take is wait to see how many 69 to 70 ratio are coming out. Let someone else be the guinea pig. With such a short run 100,000, everyone is curious how they will grade.

There will not be many MS/PF 70's. Most will be MS/PF-69's.

I have a 10th Anniversary Platinum $50.00 Coin Set 2007-W that both are PF70's and worth big $$$. The 2007 W is PF-70 ULTRA and the Reverse PF is PF-70.

I also have the 2008-W Silver Eagles Set graded out at MS-70, PF-69 ULTRA, and the Variety (With the Reverse of 2007) at MS-69

My sets shipped on 10/11, so I'm hoping to receive them sometime this week.

Can you explain what you're referring to in regard to "the program only lasts about 30 days from 1st shipments"??? I didn't realize there was a time limit on getting coins graded.

I never had any of my coins graded. Any advice on which service to use -- PCGS or NGC?

Thanks for any and all input!!!

                Susan

                        Hi
As you know I have been away - what is a ASE set?
Something like the special Lincoln set?
                        Roger the DAH!

My two sets just arrived. Simply stunning. Now I just need to figure out the grading process and whether or not I should push forward with that.

This is the "News" Link on grading of the 25th ASE Sets. Hope this helps however your sets will not be desginated as first strike as your sets since they have been opened, but still can get the special labeling on some of the coins. This is about as much as I know about NGC and nothing on PCGS.
