The company I work for is taking on COINSTAR

I'm a Merchandiser with ACOSTA Marketing and I just read that ACOSTA is picking up the COINSTAR account. COINSTAR also owns the REDBOX. I'm sure when this this is all worked out we will probably be servicing the REDBOX kiosks which is good because we'll have access to all the new movies to watch for free, but what I really wish I could do is be the guy that picks up the change from the coin counting kiosks. I'd love to sort thru and see all the different goodies people dump in those machines.

I have a close friend that is a delivery driver for Garda (for those unfamiliar, they're a money transporter just like Brinks). I've tried to bribe him in the past to letting me meet up with him somewhere and exchanging a few bags for some cash + incentive... but he's too afraid to lose his job over it, lol.

That would mess up his inventory sheets that he started with, as no bank signing for the bags.>>>>LOL

Rock- Can you find out which bank Coinstar utilizes for it's coin deposits? And is it the same nationwide? I've been trying and store managers have only been able to give me a toll free number which leads to a recording. This might be helpful for all.

Trust me Chris, I've been trying to find out that information and any other related information since before I found out about ACOSTA getting involved. Maybe, as time goes on, I'll meet someone privy of this information. OR, I can just follow the coinstar guy around and see where he ends

Sorry, I don't mean to jump on your thread, but this is what I got from checking the Coinstar return tray for stuff anyone has left behind. Meaning foreign coins or just damaged or maybe a washer or a button. This is what I found, a 1907 Great Britain gold Sovereign.
