    Chip book Milestone Thread

I figure Id put this here out of the way from the regular rooms so those who want to see this can just travel this way to find it. Heres some milestones I would like to share.

    500 happened 3/27/2011
    750 happened 7/07/2011
    1000 came around 08/06/2011
    then 1500 came at 12/14/2011
    now comes 2,000 on ??/??/??

Only 80 away. I didnt think 500 would jump less than a month later. Wanted to share .

I wonder when 2,500 will happen.

Do you dream of Abe... LOL... Since collecting pennies is so addictive the shrinks have decided to do away with the 12 step process for Lincolnism... There is now a 100 step process... It takes 1 year to complete each step... LOL!!! Congrats on your milestones Jay!!!

Congratulations on all of your hard work on this incredibly extensive project. No matter what, you are creating a valuable resource for all of us! Also, it is one that will likely be used well after most of us are gone. Must be pretty cool to be immortal.

No - 100 step is too complicated - 12 steps are enough. The problem for many is to get through the 4th.
Easy does it - but do it!

I think hands down the best part is after this i can assist anyone else who wants to write a book and needs help in the process to get to completion. I prefer that being the legacy of this over what is in the book. This is a subject gets overlooked, poo pooed on and holds very few people's interest. BUT to help someone on a book that will be on a bigger genera Thats where I will be most useful .

                      # 2,000 reached tonight. 1955D-01-REV-4 . Of that massive coin lot I got im working on the large REVERSE section and only up to 1956 now . SO much more to go and we havent touched Die cracks. I put nearly 400 new variations in so far. 10% of the lot are new items . Lower than expected but still early on.
