    Any Beer Can Collectors??

My Father-In-law passed away in November. We have been slowly going through his house to prep it for sale. To date I have shredded four 55 gallon trash bags from his file cabinets alone. Loved the guy, but he NEVER threw anything away! LOL..Anyway, he had collected beer cans starting in the mid 1960s. He was a member of the National Beer Can Collectors Society, along with other Clubs. The rough estimate by counting the 24 can flats is over 1,000 cans. They will be divided between my Bro-in-law and myself. Not sure if there are any cone tops or not at this point. Anyone here collect, or know of a good avenue (besides Flebay) to disperse what I end up with??? I'd love to display them, but no room in the domicile at present. Thanks! Bill

No, but I haven't drank since April 1985. Before then, I was known a's the human beer can until I discovered vodka.

Have you tried to contact any of his Beer Clubs? man that sounded odd

Um, or you can always try to list them on Kijiji or Craigslist Just put in there BO rather than a price tag.

I'll bet there is a Beer Can Collectors forum out there...probably the best place to start.

If you get any of those I would be interested.

                Hi
When I was 17/18 we use to drink a 8 oz can of malt beer called "country club" wonder if that's still around? I know a parking spot where there still must be a ton of them! Troble is there have been alot of new generations dumping cans there since 1967/8!

Today is the anniversary of the first beer can. In 1935 they were produced for the first time. 72 years ago! I just saw it on tv. At least I don't remember bottles only - although I do remember containers - especially on Sundays.
                      Oh yea.
