Is anyone heading to the expo May 31st-June 2nd? This is my last ditch effort to get my girlfriend excited about coins. I really wanted to go, and she wanted a vacation. Whats nicer than southern california in June? A coin show in southern california in june! Hope to see some of you there.
We decided to go a few months ago, airfare rates are amazing when you buy well in advance.
I was actually thinking about posting something similar, as it'd be great to meet up with some LCR members for dinner (show hours are going to be ALL work!)
Simon has been trying to arrange transportation down to LA from the Bay Area. I've talked to 2 other members who plan on attending, WHO ELSE?!
And Maggers- My GF will be in tow too, but she's helping me full-time in the business and in contrast is rather EXCITED ABOUT A COIN SHOW (this is a new experience for me!)

I just found out that Southwest is offering some great fares from ATL to LAX, so I'm now planning on attending. I haven't ironed out the details of which date(s) yet though.

We're driving from phoenix, it's dirt cheap to fly from here to LAX... but I don't trust baggage handlers with my coins! My girlfriend loves coin shows, but I'd really like her to find a part of the coin world she's interested in for herself. Aside from the fact it's money and coins are shiny. ;) I think dinner is a great idea though... It'd be nice to put some faces to names.
It looks like a go right now. I'm really looking forward to meeting you and the others here who will be going. And if we get arrested for having too much fun, Bob's already said he'd bail us out.
