So, it's a documentary, then. I wonder what Lincoln himself would think of this. The sad part is that 46% of Americans will now actually think that Abraham Lincoln was a vampire slayer instead of the Great Emancipator.

Is this where the Lincoln cent goes after the Franklin half (bugs bunny or vampire clash die)?

Mmm, so true, and good point, bad enough today's generation is warped enough about history, etc. There just isn't much importance these days about it, or about protecting it. It's all gone to the vampires.

I hate to say, you have a point there. The only thing I can do is teach my children and grandchildren about history and the 'correct' attitude to have. And, we must count on our school teachers in this nation to teach them too!

(If we only had an 'American' President to stick up for our rights, and our values!!) IMHO

I read the book. It was ok. I hope the movie is better than the book.

Because parents didn't pay attention in school, and all they cared about was being popular or getting laid. I can't remember anyone who liked history when I was in high school. Most people just don't think it's relavent, so it takes a back seat to other things.

My kids love history and get good grades in the class, we talk history and we watch all the documentaries. I think that's all a parent can do. Oh and all of us will watch this movie as well
