Somewhat amusing. Not clear how much of the collection has been recovered.

Well i certainly hope the coins weren't dinged up too bad being handled and such to buy pizza and movies...Somewhat amusing. Not clear how much of the collection has been recovered.

The pizza must have been good if he spent $100,000 on it!
On an unrelated note, has anyone heard that story about a man in Nevada that died, and when his family went to his house, they found like a million dollars worth of gold coins or something?Comment

"Liberty quarter with an estimated value between $1,100 and $18,500."
That narrows it down.Comment

Yeah Brad, that's the difference between whether you're selling the coin or buying it

Simon,
Did you hear that story from an Ebay sell for International Numismatic Bureau?
And let me guess...they found them all hidden in a clock in a closet?

They declined to arrest the female because she was pregnant ? Now there's a free pass for any female that wants to commit a crime. You guys in Washington better watch out

Simon,
I was making fun of Ebay seller International Numismatic Bureau(they've changed their seller i.d. now). Every sell they had was about finding some hoard of coins in some old dead person's house, or an old bank in a ghost town. The coins were nothing but junk.“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.”Comment

Late to post, but this has been on my mind since it first appeared (even though it seems half the posts are about gold in Nevada hahaha).
Being arrested, being cited, and being prosecuted are different matters. I am sure the girl involved was cited and will probably be prosecuted, but perhaps was not arrested because of possible liability should something go wrong with the pregnancy.Comment

Actually they only mentioned that the guy was "charged"....but I read some of the comments and that if they arrested her, the state would be liable for medicals bills while detained. They will probably wait until after the delivery. Poor reporting if you ask me.
