    Floating penny , bucket find

Sorry this may not belong here but was a hoot when I filmed it. The bucket had hardened spots of a setting material for ceramic tile remaining in it and someone had put a water and acid mix in it to try and clean the bucket. Then at some point a clad cent was dropped in .
Two things seem to have happened then. The acid leached out some of the polymer admix used in the setting material ( I'm no chemist, just a guess) and thickened the liquid in the bucket , and also ate a hole in the edge of the cents clad layer and started reacting with the core of the penny .

So sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John
