    penny hound

Don't know if this is the correct forum or if there is even one! But had to share! You know those "Need a penny, take a penny, have a penny leave a penny", well of course I always look! At grocery yesterday saw this, even though I didn't have my glasses on, I knew it was different! When I got home this is what I found ....How Cool!!!!! Took with my Celestron, w/o any fine tuning, not too shabby!

Cool find for sure ! And the correct forum would be Off-Topic (non Lincoln) so I moved it for you.

We pulled a 1920 Canadian cent out of a roll earlier this week. Reminded me how much I like the early design.

Cool pick up. Not that there is a real premium difference, but for the sake of knowledge, you have a 1920 Small Variety.

The Value doesn't mean much to me, that fact it was the so old! Never seen one & pretty good shape! There was another canadian penny in there, reg size...........WE get lots of Canadian Snowbirds!

Tery, Nice to find anything from 1920 in circulation.

When I saw your posts title I thought it would be about the little dog that ate all the cents and got in the news.

A Jack Russell terrier, while lacking in common sense, was brimming with common cents. The beloved pet pooch inhaled a mini-mint of 111 pennies behind its Manhattan owner’s back, and veterina…

Funny Ed, never heard a word about it, sure fits. I like those kind of finds, especially in such shape! I wonder if people think I am crazy when I look and or take pennies, especially if I put a dime in for a penny?!
