I know mockingbirds do...but there are probably others. -
I know this thread is off-topic, but, speaking of mockingbirds...
Trying to sleep in Saturday and Sunday, I kept hearing a cell phone ringing. It seemed to be coming from outside. I thought, maybe someone has their cell phone near a window or in their car or something like that, and it is ringing, but nobody is there to pick it up (or they are sound asleep).
Well, later, while working around the outside of the house, I heard it again. It was a frickin' mockingbird doing a perfect imitation of a cell phone electronic ring.
Even with our windows closed, you can still hear that "ring".Allan (AstroRaider) White

Mockingbirds are nasty animals; extremely territorially aggressive. I've seen them take on robins and doves in my back yard.Comment

That's nothing. When they are nesting they will actually peck at passersby to get hair for their nests. Don't care for the critters at all. They aught to have a season on them.Comment

Not sure if mine is a mocking bird but I borrowed a pellet gun to take mine out. It's like that damn movie "failure to launch" but I'm sure I am not reviving him. That's even if I could see it. Man it just started two weeks ago. Between birds and squirrel in attic. I may call someone. Damn wife feeding them while I am trying to kill them. I blocked all outside accesses to attic and find out she opening garage pull down stair case while I am at work. Afraid of babies. Couldn't believe it. LolComment

Me, I'm dealing with a wild rabbit who although quiet drives my hound/grey hound mix into a frenzy!!! Although I'm an early riser it gets our Lola pacing and running from window to window in the house. Then when I take her out she takes me... for a run. So its the rabbit, the hound and me at 7:30 almost every morning. Its a treat if I can stop and hear a bird sing. Lol!Comment
