I know, I know, This isn't a Lincoln Cent... But, I feel like this is too strong a DDR to not be listed in the CPG. I think there may be some MD as well, but you can't argue with notching... is this the coneca 2-R-I-CCW?

I really don't think there's a dramatic DDR listed for '65. It's not in the CPG.
I do see the notching, just not certain on the variety.Chris & Charity Welch- LIVEANDIEVARIETIES

I bartend for a living and get $30 a night in quarters to look through. Tonight however, I got busier than usual early. At the end of the night, I had a roll left over and bought it out of my drawer. While I was waiting for my girlfriend I decided to thumb through the roll... and low and behold! I was super surprised...Comment

That's truly a one in a million find. It's a very nice doubled die!
Just because it's not listed in the CPG doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There are MANY really nice die varieties that are not listed in that book. I have always complained that the CPG should be called the "One Percent" book, because it lists only about one percent of all the dies known to exist.Charles D. does the "N" that is in UNUM have a serif or pointed tip pointing to the left on the right upright?

Wow Ryan, that second set of photos really brings it into focus. Great doubled die.
FYI for everyone- the CPG is supposed to highlight SOME of the most significant varieties. Far, far from everything is supposed to be listed. It's just a peep at what our hobby has to offer, not a comprehensive list. It's be pretty hard to list a variety in a book that's previously unknown. I think this may be a new discovery, and if it is, it's magnitude is great, being such a strong die and over 40 years old.
Congratulations Ryan- that's an amazing quarter.Chris & Charity Welch- LIVEANDIEVARIETIES

Ryan, CONECA (James Wiles) and John Wexler both list all denominations in their listings. Obviously coppercoins only lists coppers, but I would love to have something that bold in the files. I would recommend asking wither of those two to attribute it for youBob Piazza

If not listed (I don't have the CONECA or Wexler files memorized) it'd definitely be important to have both examine and attribute the coin. This one is really, really exciting!Chris & Charity Welch- LIVEANDIEVARIETIES
