    LCR Merchandise

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Thomas for putting together such a wonderful array of items in which we can purchase to show our pride in LCR. I would also like to thank Brad for allowing it to happen. There seems to be some concerns about where the money will be going. I have used Zazzle before. I used them for one of the Lacrosse teams I am webmaster for. They are a top notch company. I can tell you from 10 years experience dealing with what we called "spirit wear", there are pros and cons with every choice made for merchandising. Some of the more obvious "pros" when using a company like Zazzle is that there is absolutely no cost or risk to LCR or Brad. You get a wide range of products, because everyone's taste is different. Brad does not end up with tons of leftover merchandise with money tied up in it. The "cons" for using a company like Zazzle are the amount of profit LCR will see from each item is much smaller than if Brad ordered a bulk amount of shirts to sell on his own. The price each of us pay for each item is also a bit higher using this format. This is because the items are not being made in bulk, rather they are made to order, which is much more costly to Zazzle. Thus that higher cost is passed down to us when we purchase.

For the purpose of what Zazzle is being used for, it is the perfect solution for LCR. There is no deadline for ordering. No one is committed or has to feel obligated to participate.

Once again, thank you Thomas and Brad. This is way cool, and a definite step in the right direction.

I went on the site; appears you need to register, which I don't like. Would consider ordering only if place order pay and go!

I was never concerned about where the money goes, more curious about the costs. I decided to buy the items we'd use and donate what we want.

Thanks Sean, I am still trying to figure out a way to work Bob and eggnog into a design.

Have a "line drawing" contest. Nothing extremely detailed, just a fun character or cartoon frame of Bob and his egg nog. It's a real thing.... we sent him a bottle for Christmas and he personally told me that it was excellent. Bob does indeed drink the egg nog!

I'll put up the prize, DO IT Thomas!!

I like it Chris! I am not the optimal pick to run a contest, but I bet if you start the thread and throw down a prize the entries will come. Brad and you mods can pick the winner from the entries (the entries would have be to made on a transparent background, otherwise it could take me days if it was even possible to render the image and place it on one) . Sorry Bob but you wont get a vote since you're the subject matter.

            On a side note:
-I did a redo on the Playing Cards
            -I added a Magnet
-And a 3 Ring Binder (I know some of you store your coins in them)
-The custom LCR postage stamp should also be approved soon.

Look for them all to pop up over the next 8-24 hours.

Now is the time to buy if you are looking for a mug or shirt, they are running a sale till Thursday. See attached image.

just a fun character or cartoon frame of Bob and his egg nog
I'd be curious to see how folks would explain the cartoon to other's who ask what it is?

They'd think LCR is about holiday alcoholics who use eggnog containers to look at and verify coins.

Amazing how the little eggnog comment from years ago has morphed into this
Pretty cool, but this isn't about me, it's about Brad's LCR and the family that has grown out of it.

Looks like the fantasy football players are excited for the season, made that shirt up just for fun and its selling pretty well! I gotta get myself one before the sale ends.

Tomorrow is the last day to get:

                      50% off Drinkware and Hats
                      40% off Clothing and Necklaces
                      30% off Buttons
                      20% off Keychains
                      10% off all other products

Use Promo Code SUMMERSTYLES at checkout. Offer is valid through June 27, 2013 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time). If you plan on making purchases there probably is no better time.

This is not a sale put on by LCR, rather the manufacturing company (zazzle), so we have no idea when a deal like this will appear again.

Looks like zazzle did a redesign of their website. Has a much cleaner look to it I think. Click HERE to see changes.
