Recently spent time traveling the world, Germany, Iraq, Thailand, Afghanistan. Now, I am looking for a new great adventure, what that may be, only time will tell.

Looks like you have been putting in a little overtime lately.

This is one of the best threads I've read in a long time. I never realized how many interesting and talented people were here. Makes me wish I had a regular job or a special skill to brag on. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing pics of everyone in their daily environment. Keep them coming.

In the manufacturing of windows business most of my life which branched to marketing them, which led to a lot of photo equipment which led to taking pics of my daughter swimming in high school and college which led to be the unofficial team photographer for her college team which then led to contract work taking photos for other schools which followed with putting pics of different swimmers into photoshop and doing special requests for rich parents to take pictures during matches and then playing around with them which the parents then blew up to put on their walls at home. I wish I could say I was great at it but a very expensive lens and camera and the latest version of photoshop which can remove things to a great degree can work wonders. Sorry if I put up to many photos. SMN is my wife's design company. Did a brochure for a college and used that photo with her name on it. Anyone that has a kid or grandkid swimming needs to look at how to enter the water swimming the backstroke. This is suppose to be the perfect entry.

Hey all... Perfect timing for this thread!

I'm a musician / producer / artist... I just released my fourth album, 'Within The Yellow Leaf'... To get an idea (without listening) of genre relations, below is a snippet from a review I received on my second release, Ode To Bartleby, which has a nice compare / contrast with other genre specific headliners and heavy hitters...

                    Mean Street Magazine
                    DIRTY ELEGANCE
                    Ode to Bartleby
                    (Dirty Elegance)

In the way that DJ Shadow re-defined instrumental hip-hop or Boards of Canada re-shaped headphone IDM, Dirty Elegance’s new album, Ode to Bartleby, is so masterfully done electronica must recognize another watershed moment. Certainly there are
familiar sonic landmarks: “Style Rider” ventures into the moody strings-tinged cinematic mode of Blue Sky Black Death, while “The Scrivener” smacks of DJ Krush with somber piano and mournful trumpet. And yet while other tracks’ whirrings, stuttering
beats and chiming tones should get the attention of Four Tet and Amon Tobin diehards, Ode to Bartleby still emerges far, far greater than its evocative parts. Cunningly textured and extremely magical, this is the new Endtroducing, the new Music Has the Right to Children.

I've included a couple of my photos as well...

Cool thread with a great dichotomy of talent...

                    much love

This is a work related photo when I was a lot younger. Can anyone guess where it was taken and what circumstance were involved?

This thread sure has been interesting.

                            Curious what BJ's photo means...

I have my site (which you've seen), but nothing is priced. My work tends to be either really large or rather small and easier to find a home when someone sees it in person. Now, if I have it, I would sell it. Pricing is tough. Once in a while someone will email me about something on my website. I don't really have multiples of anything, or I suppose I could sell whatever that would be. Photographs would be much easier to sell, but I have yet to have anyone inquire about me printing something specific and selling it.
