Last year I remember posting that PCGS required either USPS Registered or Express mail for submissions if you chose to go the USPS route. Reading their submission rules (updated 1/1/14) I see now that they recommend Registered mail as opposed to requiring it. Express mail isn't even mentioned anymore. Is this a recent change or was I mistaken in my post last year?

Let's just say I gave up using Express mail about 8 years ago. I did use tracking and taped the edges of the envelope but they never said a word to me. You did see return shipping from them just went up to 19.95?

I hadn't noticed that. I use ANACS the most so I rarely pay attention to the others. Still $19.95 is about on par with the other two, unless you throw in that idiotic $8 "handling" fee.Comment

Even for anacs I always send my stuff in by registered.
It's slower and costs a bit more but I felt safer.
I tried to make up the cost by sending as much in each group instead of more small groups.Comment
