    My first craigslist purchase

There's quite a variety of stuff in this. All I've done this far is pull everything out of the large tote. Certainly going to be a fun next few days. All the closed cases are empty but the came with all the coins. There was originally 3 totes I went through but was reduced down to one heavy one. They said there's another tote somewhere but they just need to find it. They said they will contact me if they find it. Got a great deal!

Unfortunately they are copies! The cases say National Collector's Mint. The silver commemorative coins are from the US mint. I wish they were ballistic rolls of dollars! Instead one is a roll of nickels and the other is a roll of cents. The person this belonged to sure had a real big thing about 2009 coins. I probably paid market value for the silver coins and a couple of the graded coins for the whole lot.

Not sure what those little coins are, I can't seem to find any related information on them. They look ... odd... under the scope. LOL

            Thanks! It's certainly a lot.

Does anyone know anything about these coins? I tried to google search but all I could find was a couple auction listings. The cards say .585 Gold and 0.5 grams.

I'd be all kinds of excited just for the opportunity to go through a hoard like that. Congrats Matt! I have some miniatures like those, but I really don't know where they were made.

                  Thanks!

I'm going to contact the person with some listed on ebay to see if they can enlighten me on the information about them or where they were purchased from.

I would try going to the American mint web site and see if you can pull up something about those small coins.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them I have others

I couldn't even find their website but I finally did... Searching now, thanks!

Can't seem to find anything about miniature coins on their website.

Before everyone jumps over to Craigs list just remember its a great place to sell stolen coins, so use good judgement and caution.

I made one purchase on it -- but yes I am VERY wary... My mini-score was positive -- 730 Wheats -- they wanted $55 - Told him 7 cents plus a coin was outrageous, let him hang for a month -- got it for $35... These are unsearched in my eye as there was a nice selection across the decades and many more 10's & 20's than I have ever seen... Still not thoroughly searched yet so unknown finds..
