Well I'm nowhere near the coppercoins level! But I have a proof Ike doubled die with a peg leg. That's about as rare as I've held that I know of. I thought I had an 1861 confederate cent but I'm 98% sure it's counterfeit.

Just takes time and determination to do something good for the hobby, and the opportunity will knock. Nothing super-human.

            I have held a 1969 s ddo and a 1856 flying eagle cent....at the same show....
I was born in 1969 so when I saw it I was staring and studding it... the owner ask... I told them.. and thay asked If I wanted to see it... another dealer had a 1856 and 2 1857s.. I asked to see his 57... One was a die from 57.. the other was a 56 die ... when I told him about the difference... he pulled out his 56 and said... I didn't know that... check it out...
as a personal note I have a one of a kind 2000 P clam cent with a hole I drilled into it.....It is the one coin I will never sell and will be buried with....a coin story for another time.....

Nothing super human but admirable. I know it will take some time. And time is all we have. It just depends on how we spend it.

A rarer variety of Massachusetts pine tree shilling, a couple of rare proof patterns. Nothing exceedingly rare or valuable, but still gave me a rush to see them up close.

Life is not about greatness but on the impact of good onto others. It is a matter of how much one shines. Explains why I like shiny coins.
