1888 Indian Head Cent DDO & DDR

Hi, to all. I found this 1888 Indian head Cent in a roll and upon
inspection I seen doubling. The feather on head appears to be doubled
with a notch and the obverse appears doubled. I was told there were
no 1888 Cents that are doubled but this is obviously not true because
There is doubling here. Is this cent a DDO & DDR?

I'm not seeing it, but then again, I stick mostly to Lincoln Cents. This should probably be in General Discussion also as it's an Indian Head.

I was already told by Mike Diamond there is doubling He referred Me to this site.

You are correct that Rick Snow has no listed doubled dies for this date, only overdates and misplaced dates. I can't say with certainty what you have there. I would suggest you contact Rick Snow with your pictures and get his opinion. http://www.indiancent.com/

I'm of the mind that the anom by the headdress may be part of a counter clash and the rest looks MD to me. Or possibly remnants of Longacre doubling.

I agree, the headdress looks like remnants of a die clash, and the reverse looks MD.

MD on the reverse agreed...Question... do you know what MD ( machine doubling ) or SD ( strike doubling ) is?

I'm no IHC expert, but Longacre doubling comes to mind when I look at the reverse http://error-ref.com/longacre-s-doubling.html

A clash is what remains from the flat void...the field...the shape would be where the field meets a design element....

see the mark 3/4 up the right side of the A in AMERICA and snakes to the rim...

The cent has a Clash & a Crack but on further inspection I found the Doubling on the
reverse and wasn't sure if it was MD or DD and in between the feathers looked funny.
