See there... that's what I thought! At least you got more sleep than I did, you need as much rest as you can get for those 7 or 8 boxes you have not gotten to yet
Nice find. The oldest I ever found was somewhere in George VI's reign. By the way the key dates for the George V small cents are 1922, 1923 and 1925 with semi-keys in 1924, 1926 and 1930. Find a 1936 with a dot under the date and you can take the next five years off work.
Thank you Admorse. I have a ton of Canadian cents to look through. I knew about the 1936 dot cent ( actually I found out about it on this site from a fellow member ) but I didn't know about the key dates and the semi key dates !

Thank you admrose, this is great info to know. Honestly... until last night I had never seen one, I had to look it up LOL... I am having a hard enough time with Lincoln's! I am all over that "next five years off work" idea!!
Very cool find. Surprises can be found in any roll. Congrats.
Thank you wapa! Last night was definitely an exception to the norm for me. I was seriously pulling 3-4 wheats out of a roll at a time, and 2 DDO's were practically back to back! Fun times

Reason: messed up
Furry there were 21, the best is a AU 1957D I thought it was a shield when I pulled it out of the roll. The rest are 39P (X2), 40S, 41D, 42 P&D, 44P, 45 P&D, 46D, 47D (X2), 47S (X2), 194X S either a 1940 or 1948 the last digit is broken but I think it's a zero, 50S, 55P, 56P and 57D (X2) Some folks may think we are kinda strange for caring about all this detail... and we probably are to some extent. But I think it is cool to see what years are being found and I always look at your list Here is a pic of the 57D, I have not even started looking at these wheat's yet.
Nice 1920 George V cent there VAB... and found it in a brick you say.....I do have a SM cent Canadian collection I've been working on too. I still need a few to fill and maybe a few replacements. I did however pick this up at the Annapolis show a few weeks back ...not to walk on your thread But thought you may like this medal. 1937
