    It appears to be isolated machine doubling.

            Machine doubling can be found in almost any year, any place. It is basically caused by the die bouncing as the press produces coins and considered a "normal" part of the process.

                  MD is common on all denominations. It is not of any value to a collector. There are cases where extreme md will sell for a premium, but that is rare. In other words, don't be fooled in thinking they have value. Most people toss them.
