2015P Homested Mint Roll Pump reflextion DDO?

Got this 2015p homestead roll at the coin shop today. It has the pump reflection DDR on one end. On the other end has what looks like another DDR. My question is to open it or not open it? What would you do?

You threw me with your title of DDO Nice double end DDR... Have you tried to match what you see on Wexlers site yet??? If they are new I would pop it open... Then again I am like a cat - Curious and would pop it any way!!!

The WDDR-004 is the "big one" and much harder to find. They fetch $20+ on ebay. The other one that's showing is the WDDR-015 which is less valuable. I don't know what the premium might be if you have a supposed roll of the 004s. I think the question you have to answer for yourself is: Are there more 004s inside that you could cherrypick for quality -- then sell the rest. Or are there more 015s? Or neither?

Thx for the response. Sorry about title brain freeze. Just fixed it . Still don't know what I'll do. I just keep hearing open me, open me come on just do it.

No doubt; I would open it.

I would tend to want to open it as well. I was finding an average of 3 or 4 doubled dies per roll when I was going through the Minnesota DDRs in 2005. Of course, that's all subjective, but knowing that I have at least one would make me want to see if there is more.

Sometimes they go for big bucks being end coins like this. I had several DDR rolls in 2009 FY. I still have a few of the rolls with DDR end coins. If you already have one of them I would try to auction the whole roll. The "not sure" part is what gets the buyers wanting it even more. Could be filled with the DDR or just one...never know. That's just me though

I would go back and see if they have more from the same batch and try getting more.
If you get more, open one and see what you get and that will help you decide if it's worth more intact.
If they are from the same batch they'll probably have roughly the same mix.

I can hardly ever resist opening rolls so I'm biased. I would have ripped that open the second I saw it LOL
