I used to search rolls of half dollars and found this one 1967 that I put away because the rim was all silver.I know that that year is only 40% silver. I tried weighing it but my scales are saying it weighs 11.9 I don't think they are very accurate.I figured I would ask in here till I get my scales fixed. Is this just something the mint does for appeal?Sure did trick me for a minute. Thanks Vickilynn
Anyone know about Kennedy half dollars?

I do know they are worth at least 50 centsSorry I just had to do that... Would be cool to be the mostly silver version... Would be worth a lot more than 50 cents!!!

the 40% halves do not show a "copper edge"
in a very nice one it looks like two shades of silver
