Every once and a while I can't help but look at other denominations for varieties. I found this RPD (Repunched Date) at a coin show this weekend. It jumped out at me and I just had to pick it up. Are there any RPD junkies out there? Is this a common die?

Two cent pieces are not that common to begin with. I had this variety before but the repunching was not as visible as yours. Very nice.Is this a common die?Bob Piazza

I think I like the 2 cents almost as much as Lincolns
I built a date set and sold it off.. only kept my 1864 small motto
I also have a 1864 large date, a 1864 ld rotated die 180 degrees, a 1864 ld rotated die 90 degrees cw, and a 1865 rotated die 90 degrees ccw
