looks like it is the same person who increased his max bid
Just one person so the starting bid will not change till someone else bids on itMember: Florida State representative for the ANA, Florida state representative for CONECA, F.U.N. and the Ocala Coin Club -

They do this to intimidate other bidders and the hope is no one else will bid. Hopefully you get more bids. It is an impressive bow!

On a side note I realized not long ago that even if you are the current high bidder, if you increase your max bid on top of your current high bid, it shows up as if you've made an additional bid even though you haven't yet. Hope that made sense? To be clear if your first bid makes you high bidder, then you increase your max bid on top of that, it will show others that you are on auto bid for at least the next increment even though the bid has not gone up yet. I don't understand this. What's the point of laying in the weeds hiding if everyone can see you? This hurts the sellers in my opinion by discouraging more early bids and encourages savvy buyers to wait and snipe on the end.Comment

Whatever it was didn't hurt the auction...it's doing better than we expected considering archery season has already startedComment
