Came across this new movie on Netflix about 4 college kids who break into the mint to remake an error coin die. Yes, it's corny but it's pretty cool too! It's not often our hobby gets airtime in Hollywood! Spoiler alert: They based the movie on a damn quarter! How could they not consult with us first???? 😆

Don't forget about the Simpsons episode with the "kissing Lincolns" cent!

I think the one we could relate to the best is the Lucy show episode.
If I remember right, it shows her getting the cents at the bank (I was jealous because there must have been great stuff in them) and sorting them in piles and returning the searched ones to the bank. Getting excited when she finds out what her 11-S??? is worth. Then she heads to a coin shop to sell it with her friend but fumbles and drops it in the sewer drain. Then she lowers her friend into the sewer to get it but it's out of reach so she gets so far in Lucy only has her feet then she drops her in. Then Lucy wants to help her so she reaches in further and further until she falls in and the other lady pops out another sewer drain. Then a cop sees her and asks what she's doing in the sewer and she says getting a penny. At least that's how I remember it, that episode was hardly ever on, after years of watching it I only saw it once.
