    1979 D dime doubled?

Does anyone else see any doubling in the words in God we trust? Or is it a worn out die?

Wow, Sheila..I've never found any doubled die dimes, but that sure looks promising!

I was hoping that I was not the only one seeing it. Lol! I can't find it listed on any other website.

This one looks promising with the bend on the letters, hopefully a clad coin person will chime in about the effects of die wear on these.

Yes, G looks pretty distorted as well as the U. I was comparing it to other 79's and nothing even comes close to this one.

That looks really promising to me also... I did a quick look at VV for a comparison and this 1970S is very similar to your IGWT http://varietyvista.com/07%20Rooseve...970SDDO002.htm

It does look similar. I couldn't find anything else on here or my books that mentioned anything about this particular year. Should I send this to someone to get a better look at it? Maybe Wexler?or someone on here that could do it?
