Is this missing part of the top layer on the reverse? If it is, would it have any premium to it?

Appears to have been exposed to something that caused that coloration. The coins I have seen with partially clad layers have not had such a gradual change between layers.
JohnSo sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John -

I see some inter mix of the copper color and the silver on the torch/flame and around the DIME... I think Stoneman is correct... What does the edge of the coin near DIME look like???Jim

The right rim is the dime in question. The left one is the regular one. They are both facing the same direction. Obverse facing left and reverse facing right.Attached FilesComment

Thanks for the follow up pics... The rim near DIME - Is it the outer clad layer??? If the rim near DIME has the outer layer in place I think Stoneman is on the mark with a stain of some sort... The areas discolored are smooth in transition and that rules out clad peeling away!!!Jim
