1979 Canadian cent worn Die or MD?

I am not familiar with Canadian money. I am not sure what to think about this one. Can I please get some info and opinions?

Since this is not a Lincoln I moved the thread to Off Topic Discussions... To me it looks like a DDO and DDR but like you I do not know enough about Canadian coinage... The would be doubling is all over the place in various directions on both sides of the coin. I believe it to be MD. Though I have not seen one quite that severe before.

That was what my thoughts were also.

On the reverse, I'm thinking it might be MD to the SW and it creates an illusion that it goes 2 directions but in reality the reason it shows top and bottom of the leaf is that both areas are west. If that makes sense LOL.

On the obv maybe MD to the NE.

Not 100% sure.

This is typical die deterioration on Canadian cents.

Jallengomez has it right. This is pretty typical for deteriorated dies on Canadian coinage.
