    1969 error Canadian Cent?

Are The lines and dots next considered an error on this coin? Or is it just circulation wear?

I looked at several different pics of the 69 Canadian Cent and it looks like yours is somewhat typical with maybe an of center strike that makes the dots look like denticles. The obverse and reverse would appear to have a slightly different design around the rim though. I found this site that may be able to help also, a Canadian Variety and Error Forum (https://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...p?FORUM_ID=139).

I'm not sure what you mean when you ask "Are The lines and dots next considered..."
I believe there are dots around the perimeter of the reverse and obverse. Some of these have gotten elongated (almost like denticles) from die wear. Hope this helps.

I see that on most of the Canadians I find. I believe it to be die wear, similar to ours that have in God we trust extending to the rim.
