We can help I'm sure, but it's better to do one item at a time, each on it's own thread.

Your 1948-d cent is a counterstamp, it was done outside the mint so it's not an error but they are collectible. The embossed ones that stick out like yours are neater than the flat ones but are still pretty common. The symbol is a masonic symbol and they made tons of counterstamped cents like that. You could probably do a pretty neat set of them, I think I've had that same one (or virtually same) from the 50s-60s-70s and yours is from the 40s.

I'm not sure about currency, but doing an ADVANCED search on Ebay for sold items is a great way to get an idea on value.

As Enamel says here it is helpful for all if you start a new thread or TOPIC for each item with its own heading and Title. This was all new to me just a couple of years ago also and took some time to get use to the definition of some words.

1)To start a new thread or topic for each item click on the FORUM tab near the top far right side of the page.
Which will bring you to this page. Click here http://www.lincolncentforum.com/forum/forum.php
2)Scroll down the page to choose a category that is best for posting your new question.
3)Click on that category (in the case of your currency I believe "OFF TOPIC" button would be the correct choice because all the others relate to Lincoln cents.)
4)Then click on start a new TOPIC
Hope this helps and welcome to this great resource.

The small cent you show is just a replica.

You should always place items in their own thread... Less confusing for us old folk You will also get more views and comments on your threads... Any items that are not Lincoln Cent related should go into the Off Topic Discussion forum... Hope that helps a little!!!

The Philippine stuff is really neat, some of the coins say United States on one side and have mintmarks from the US mints and are in Pesos.

That is a cool looking counter stamp... A masonic symbol at that... Good thing that coin wasn't a DDO or DDR
