ONE STEP CLOSER to my thoughts

All the members of LCF I consider friends
I am a member of a few other forums
but I do not have close friends IRL
sometimes I have to get out my feelings
I have done it here a few times...
Thank You for letting me now
Some members may understand, some may not at all, some may say remove this,
some may say whatever and not read to the end.
But if this helps any One person CRAWLING to the end.
    Good I did something
I want to be SOMEWHERE I BELONG, not just here

I have my Son (22) and wife ( I wont say)
I (47) have had a thread in my life that has been added to today
My grandmother committed suicide when I was 1 and saw though the years what it did to my Mom
A friend of mine committed suicide when her parents locked her out of her house and saw what it did to them
I have attempted suicide once and thought about it off and on a few times... even in the last year.....and have been NUMB
I have thought about it being HEAVY
I am LEAVEing OUT ALL THE REST

one day the SUN WILL SET ON YOU, don't let the sadness hurt others
think about everything good and positive
THE SHADOW OF THE DAY will open up to a sunrise one day
    think about WHAT I'VE DONE

we all live in a CASTLE OF GLASS that will break sometimes
But in BREAKING THE HABIT, please just let ONE MORE LIGHT shine in the darkness

IN THE END If you need to talk Please ... Please ...PM me or someone
I have been there in many ways
    always

With what little I know about you, just from posts I have read, the world is better with you in it than without...

John, thank you for opening up your mind and heart to us! Everything you have said, has touched my life at one time or another. Those times were very hard. As much as you try you can't forget, some days are just better than others. You are right, there might be someone out there who is experiencing some of these things at this very moment. There is no better help in the world than having people who care to talk to, especially the ones who have been there and understand. Maybe you are that person who someone else needs to reach out to? If you had never written this... then that person would have never known. We are here for you John, if there is anything you need or just want to talk about, that's what friends are for, and we care about you!

Mental illness, Addiction, Suicide and Dysfunctional family units surrounds many of us and my world is helping others overcome what I have been through. Life gets hard sometimes, people have taken their lives moments after I have tried to save them. I have a problem person tonight on the edge, I am trying to get him through till tomorrow. Help is always one question away and someone will always hold us up when we cannot. My favorite part of searching Lincolns is that it says "IN GOD WE TRUST" on every cent I look at. Whatever ones idea of God may be, that power works through the hands of everyday people. Hold on tight, No one promised a smooth road.

Nothing wrong with getting some things out in the open... It is needed at one time or another in ones life... I have the power to delete this if some one complains but I would rather lose that power than do an injustice to those that have helped me or a stranger that needs help... Ya'll are top notch!!!

Anthony, thank you for caring so much about people, that you do what you do to save lives! My only sister passed away from a drug overdose, many people tried to help her. I often wondered if the right person had been there for her maybe things would have been different. We all need to reach out to our brothers and sisters in need, you never know, you might be that right person who can make a difference!

Thank you Jim! No complaints whatsoever, just an outpouring of caring people! Matter of fact, you guys have become closer friends to me than the ones I have known for ages! And who would have thought we would get to know people so well on a forum? Well, here's proof... it happens!

John, there are many ways to cope with tough times in life without killing yourself. In doing something like that affects the loved ones that really love and care about you, please talk to someone professionally if you need to and let them know all you are dealing with in your life. There is always a way to get better and to get over for what you are dealing with at this time in your life, when both of my parents passed I seeked help because it put me in a really depressed state that I thought would never happen to me. So when that door does open and you need help take it and run with it, John things always work out in the end, and all of us here in LCR seem to me like we are close and care for what ever matter appears...God bless you John....
