picked up a brick today after work... searching these rolls! found a little Shield cent cud a few minutes ago!

Oh, I forgot... my kids brought me a jar of cents last night and they are not all gooey from being in the car! whoo hooo! Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to exchange out the Lincoln's that I found in my desk and in the petty cash box at work without raising an eyebrow... think I will just ask to buy them!

Cool idea Vivien! I've been digging through some more Lincolns the Wife brought home and am finding your Spike heads. Two more recently and one undiscovered. Still looking for that first variety but I feel it will be soon.

Good thread. Just a check in. I haven't forgotten about the studies and answers I owe you. I picked up a contract and went out of town, and then ran into some difficulties. Getting too old for this $#!T. lol. I should be back in the groove by middle next week.

So today I had to take the company vehicle to run some errands. Inside both car doors where the door handle is and the cup holder is full of corroded Lincoln cents! It was heartbreaking to see! That's what happens to our cents folks and all the more reason to save as many nice ones from their unfortunate fate!
