Good to know things are okay in your area Jim! So Irma is on track to Naples, then Tampa? Are the predictions that it will run along the west coast of Florida still what's happening?

Sun.- 9:25 am update- Intermittent rain and wind, wind and rain.
I have a trick I use to know the position of the center of the storm to help know when the worst has passed (It can be hard to tell unless the eye passes overhead). I put my back facing the wind (or the sound of it) and when I stick my left arm straight out, it will point at the eye of the beast. This also works well in prepping for a storm when helping others with limited plywood to know which direction or openings will get the strongest winds.
Haven't lost power yet but I do expect to.
Got my copper and silver babies tucked into some airtight bins to minimize humidity. Freezer filled with bottles of ice, a generator ready to go (will run it outside of course), and Little Debbie oatmeal sandwich cookies for comfort!!!

Cliff, please don't go outside and try this even though the eye of the storm is not coming close to you! Stay inside and enjoy a Little Debbie Oatmeal cookie! I just saw on the news telling people in the Keys to stay indoors and don't let the eye of the storm fool ya! Glad you have made preparations, sounds like you have done a good job!!!

Didn't mean to alarm you Viv. I'm a chicken, that's why I listen for the sounds of the wind from inside to determine the position.

"Riding the storm out". Shouldn't be too bad here in Brevard county.

Starting to get concerned about Roller! What's going on in Miami? You think it's just that the power is out?

                        Viv,
1)The app should be at the "app store" on your phone or do a Google search for lincoln cent forum app I think.
2)Roller may have lost power. I think the power company may cut power to certain areas at a some point as a safety measure until after the storms to avoid fires and such from downed lines.

                        11997755,

Greetings Earthling (since you are on the Space coast)

(ps. interesting screen name. Serial number of a piece of currency you found or just random #'s?)

The coin that got me started searching for errors/varieties was a 1975 dryer cent that looked like a 1975 DD. Screen name is 1975 doubled.
