    Coin Roll Hunting Nickels

    Hey Friends,
Did some roll hunting tonight. Went to the bank and picked up 2 fed sealed boxes of Nickels. First box has been searched!
    Finds
    V Nickel- 1907
    Buffalo- 1934
    Buffalo- 1928
    Buffalo- 1930
    Buffalo- 1936
    Silver War Nickel- 1942
    Silver War Nickel- 1945

I'm sure the next box won't be as fun but this one was. 20171026_193225.jpg

Not that I could see. None of the Nickels I found were in very good shape. They were pretty worn. They are still fun to find.

Wow what a great box! I wish I had that luck. I've done almost $50k of nickels and have never had a box like that.

Nice box! They aren't all going to be that good.
I haven't found a buff or V in ages and wartimes are getting tough too.

Nickels are fun, you can do a pretty nice start on a Jefferson folder from boxes, a few tougher dates and the 50-D might need to be bought but the rest are still out there in the boxes.

Very cool finds! I've not done a lot with nickels but always liked the V-nickels the best which unfortunately are not found in the wild often I'm sure.

Thanks friends! Yeah I knew that box was a rare one! I look them pretty often and that's the best in years if not ever that I've found. The second box I bought yesterday was a total bust! Back to the bank to dump them and buy more!

The V nickel design was pretty flat and they got a lot of use, when they do turn up they're often pretty slick.
