    1952 2002 no p non magnetic Elizabeth II Canadian cent

    This cent weighs 2.3 grams. I can't find anything about this cent on any website. Does anyone know anything about this Canadian cent?

      Sheila I was just looking at that after you mentioned it. The Canadian coins varied quite a bit in weight, then when they eliminated the copper and just copper plated it the weight went down in 97-99 and back up in 2000. What did you find?

      ugghhh.. then in 2013 the Canadian Mint melted down some 35 billion pennies!

          1952-2002 coin in my wallet today. I noticed all the coins usually have a "P" stamped under the date of these coins. What does the no "P" stand for? Whats it worth?

          It just has face value, nothing extra.

                    To me it looks like a Canadian one cent piece The dates indicated the queens 50th anniversary as being in charge
