    Stephen Hawking

    Some people on the forum noticed the quotation in my signature line.

    I was fortunate enough to have met Stephen Hawking briefly on two occasions (1993 and 2012).

    Here is a photo I took in 2012...



    At our next star party (and subsequent astronomy events) we will look for his spirit in the stars...

      Not many people have been able to stave off ALS and he has done since 1963... Just imagine what he could have done with a super computer interfaced directly to his brain... A brilliant individual!!!

          Thank you Allan for letting us know about Dr. Hawking's passing. Our sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and loved ones. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.

              Definitely the worlds loss with his passing. Hopefully there are those who will carry on his and Einstein's good work to fruition.



              I can't believe until a little while ago, I just realized it was Einstein's birthday too.
