Another Metal Detecting Club Hunt in Orlando.

I had another great time in Orlando at a staged metal detecting hunt.

It is kept interesting for all no matter the level of experience. Lots going on and every one, I mean everyone, walks away feeling successful. I would definitely recommend one for anyone interested in it. I started a couple of years ago and wasn't real enthusiastic because it can be easy to get frustrated when there is very little success. Captivating as roll searching once you have some success.

Got some silver, some 50 Caliber civil war bullets, a couple of modern buttons and most importantly some Lincoln's. ( Oh yeah baby!)
    Thanks for looking. Cliff

Those bullets really hit home while watching "Cold Mountain" today. All I could do was imagine those guys getting hit in those battle scenes with those big slugs as big around as my finger.

Fun stuff! I remember my son and i would visit school play grounds just to find money that fell out of pockets. When we lived in Puerto Rico we would drag out our cheap metal detector and find cash under the palm trees where people went to get shade.

Definitely no pro. Some of these guys and gals really know their stuff and are as efficient as a LCF roll searcher.

It is a fun inclusive activity that gets me out doors. Bragging rights with my buddies are a bonus (unless of course they top me and get to do the bragging )!!

I don't get out much with mine either, I get discouraged quickly and look like the crazy old man in the park.
Even a fool can look wise if he keeps his mouth closed.

                  "Plants" sounds so ..... staged.

Oh yeah, it all was except for the 1994 red nickel.
One guy found a little gold Mexican coin in a bezel in the volley ball area we started in.
Top prize was a Minelab 3030 ($2500.00 value)

I know what you mean because I can only imagine I look like someone cutting wheat with a sickle.
But this really is a fun way to get comfortable in a quick repetitive learning environment. As a newbie, I go in with very loooow expectations, so I'm not disappointed. Finding special tokens qualify's a person for prizes from the table.
