    Cook Islands Gold $1

I picked this bullion coin up a few years ago off ebay. It's a tribute to the United States of America

It's cute but it's not a bullion coin, it's sort of a scam coin.
These are misleading, they are 24% gold (note that it says .24 not 24K or .9 or .99 or .999) of the total weight (not 22-24K like bullion coins) so that means it's really 72mg of actual gold. If it was sold as a bullion coin based on the coin weight then it was a scam.

...and that would be the reason I don't pay premium for coins on ebay lol thank you Ed for the info. I didnt even know what a bullion coin was back then lol but luckily I only paid 45 bucks for it thanks again
