    1953 Canadian Nickel

    Is anyone familiar with the"far, close leaf nickel? There is a NSF, SF mule etc.. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    I don't dally in Canadian coins on purpose, but this LINK may help, from the Saskatoon Coin Club, showing the differences.

    EDIT: After looking at the link it appear yours appears to be Variety 1- "No Shoulder Fold (NSF) & Far Leaf" version

        http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php Lots of good information on Canadian coins. The terminology you are thinking of is shoulder folds. This site will help with the markers and identification of the different types
