I know this is not a cent question and I apologise for that. Years ago I've heard of 1976 Bicentennial quarter doubled dies on Philadelphia mint. I know all about the Denver doubled dies but cannot find anything on Philadelphia ones. The Philadelphia ones I've heard of in past was only a DDO. If someone can please show me the Philadelphia DDOs for 1976 I would greatly appreciate it. The one I've found appears to be a Class VI with mild separation on date and enlongated dot between 2 dates.

I am only aware of 2 D mint and 2 S mint doubled dies. I have not heard of any for the P mint. I have seen a few that had questionable extra thickness though and I might have them here. I will see if I can find them and have another look. They are not listed though.Last edited by mustbebob; 08-19-2019, 02:51 PM.Bob Piazza

If you find yours Bob take a picture of it. For we might have the same one. Then I can compare mine to yours. The thickness goes southeast with mild separation on date. It reminds me of the 1989 cent class VI with mild separation on date. Thanks for replying back Bob.Life is not about greatness but on the impact of good onto others. It is a matter of how much one shines. Explains why I like shiny coins.Comment
