Jayne Mansfield 20th century fox film Corp. Star dressing room key holder number 317

Does anyone have any knowledge of these? I have no idea. My brother gave me a few things to research and this is one of them and I don’t know what to do with it. Lol. Didn’t know if anyone on here has any knowledge of this kind of stuff. If you do, please fill me in. If you can help me track this one down, please help. Jayne Mansfield has been tied to this particular key.

Pawn Stars might have a clue or know someone who does.

Seems like an interesting item but unless you had a picture of her holding the key, it might be hard to tie it to her or anyone in particular.

How about an image of the reverse for grins and yucks.
Also, what is the weight and diameter.
    (Size of a Morgan dollar?)

thank you for some kind of direction there. My brother has me doing some kind of research for this thing. And I just had no idea where to turn on this. He is the one that told me about Jane Mansfield being tied to the key, and I don’t know where his information came from. So, I’m not quite sure on the facts of this.

I've posted the question on a metal detecting site I visit.
Hopefully someone there might have some info.

Well, I've gotten one reply to my post on the metal detecting site. No images but it describes your key to a Tee.

I'll post a link here to the thread. (mods let me know if the link isn't allowed.)

thank you so much for this information! Just a lead that I needed! Perfect! Something that I can return to my brother. He will be happy to see this. Now I just have to figure out where to go from here.

Sounds to me like the auction tag from the estate sale would be the ultimate solution.

I was actually wondering if your brother might have been the one that was trying to sell it on Amazon. At least he knows it didn't sell for $349 as listed at Amazon.

Lol, I asked him if it was him. He said it wasn’t. He also looked at it when I sent it him. He thought it was rather interesting.
