Hi, Bob i know it April fools day lol, I do not do this anymore because the time consuming part of it, i do have a suggestion, that is if you want to try it, i am willing to send you a coin that i restored and i am willing to pay to get it graded and you can keep the coin once it comes back to you. The coin is a 1955 Lincoln cent. This idea is not to make assumptions that this is the best way to clean coins it is only an idea that was passed on to me and i am sry that if i made anyone mad as we all know that a coin should be left as it is found in its original condition, it is a fun idea and a way to learn how some people make there coins look new, i know when i look at coins i am willing to purchase is that the first thing i look at is if they are cleaned or so called whizzed .

I apologize if i a fended anyone on this matter. it is only an idea that to me seems to work well.
    Thank you
    George

...but you said it only takes 5 minutes. Happy April fool's day.

lol that is funny, i know it only takes five minutes but when you dealing with a mass amount of coins, time is something i do not have much of anymore esp with two kids lol.

No need to send me a coin. I have a few around here some where or another.

Anyway, it is certainly your prerogative to put this info here, but as we mainly want to educate people that coins should not be cleaned anyway, we should leave it so that the membership makes their own call on this method. I personally wouldn't try it...but that's just me.
