Keep in mind that dessicants need maintenance, or they can actually cause problems by increasing the RH.

Yes, as the crystals absorb water they dissolve and the water is deposited in the 'collector bowl' beneath.

We have let them go for a few weeks at a time and there has been about a cup of water that has been collected just sitting there until it is removed.


In the future I will need to keep a closer eye on it.
