    ANACS photo service

Boy, what a disappointment using ANACS for their new "photo" service. Looks like they just threw my coin in a scanner! Only like $3, and I guess you get what you pay for, but I will not be utilizing this feature on submissions anymore:

    Thoughts?

Most guys here could get a shot of that quality with their mobile phones.

That's a useless photo. I suppose if the coin was clear it might have some value, but as you noted, it looks like it was placed on a scanner.

Thanks for sharing. That's a horrible and worthless service.

Thanks for sharing, I was expecting a closeup of the coin. Wont be using this service. Saved me 3 bucks.

That's of no value for most varieties.

              Are the photos linkable online?

At least to verify a coin you buy is the legit coin in a holder, you could identify it by toning.
If they aren't linkable online I'd think it's no value even for normal coins.
