It sure looks like it was struck through a (grease) filled die.

defiantly a greaser and a very nice find congrats.
I'm not sure how this values if its to high then i retract this but if you are not interested in this coin i would be interested in purchasing it from you. I think its a great example.

That is an excellent find and I agree with everyone that its a struck through grease error or a "greaser." Its also an excellent example at that - a definite keeper! Your picture of this coin was fine for capturing this anomaly, but you will also need to learn a way to take closer shots if you plan on asking questions about doubled dies or rpms. Taking shots through a loop is one cheap way of trying to do this, but having a good microscope makes it much easier.

Thanks so much to all of you, wasn't really sure if it was grease or caused by polishing. Pman, not really interested in selling right now, but if I do decide to I will definetly talk to you first.

Sounds good. I'm not a huge collector of them but its an excellent example to have hold on to it as long as possible!

A real nice greaser - there seems to be alot of 2000 greasers. I still have a couple. Any one need one - pm me. Just need a self addressed envelope.
