Is there such a thing as Quadruple Die?

Hello, first time posting so please be gentle...

Okay, so I've been trying hard not to get too excited, but I recently came across this 1995-D and it looks to me like it not only has doubling but quadrupling...? I'm sure this isn't anything special, but at least it was still a rush while it lasted! I'd be more than happy if it does have doubling and is the real deal, but most likely just wishful thinking

Try not to drink too much coffee before taking pictures freehand. Or, don't take pictures with the subject on a vibrator.

Simple answer , yes , but I'm not sure I have seen it in the Lincoln series. I have a 1893 barber quarter that is quadrupled. I think we need better pics and also a pic of the reverse of the coin.
So sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John

Appears to be plating issues to me. Welcome aboard!

Have you all taken note of the handle on this post?

Well actually I used my scanner for the pics, but perhaps there was a small earthquake at the same time it was scanning that I wasn't aware of...? Hopefully these are a little better. Thank you all and sorry about any headaches caused from trying to focus your eyes on those previous pics!

It sure seems your scanner is causing some sort of reverberation with the coin when scanning. Yes a quadrupled die is possible (as noted), but what you are showing looks like the scanner image is repeating itself. Scanners are tough with picking up detail on varieties.

                And welcome to the forum!

There are 2 fibers on the flip on the second 9, especially on the one on the tail the scan quadrupled it too so it must be an artifact of the scan.

It also looks like there is something from the plating making it look doubled on the date toward the rim.

Yes... Kind of strange but I do not think the LCF has a handle rule???

When I first looked at the images I thought "photo-shop". But it may also be the scanner as well. Either way, it is not a correct image.

It looks like you have plating issues. It is bubbling up around some of the devices giving you the illusion of extra width and doubling. Also the light is reflecting off the sides of the devices lending to a doubling look.
